About Us

At 116 Lucy Lane in Waynesboro, this Walmart Supercenter covers more ground than almost any other single store in the Shenandoah Valley. Groceries fill one end, electronics and furniture fill the other, and everything from sporting goods to bakery items lands somewhere in between. With nearly 3,900 customer reviews and a broad mix of departments under one roof, this location handles the kind of errands that would otherwise eat up an entire afternoon across multiple stops.

The store opens at 6:00 AM every single day and stays open until 11:00 PM, which means early risers picking up coffee supplies and night-owl shoppers grabbing last-minute household items both get served without compromise. That consistency across all seven days is something regulars count on, and it shows in how many families make this their default stop for weekly runs.

Customers traveling through the area along the East Coast corridor have noted the convenience of a full-service location here, and local shoppers appreciate managers like Donna, who has drawn specific praise for patience and genuine helpfulness on the floor. A store this size lives or dies by the people who work it, and that kind of standout service makes a real difference.

What We Offer

Walmart Supercenter Waynesboro brings together a remarkable range of departments that most retailers split across separate stores. The grocery section covers fresh produce, meat, dairy, and pantry staples alongside a full bakery operation. Down the aisles, you'll find clothing for the whole family, home goods, furniture, bedding, and building materials for weekend projects.

The electronics section stocks devices, accessories, and entertainment, while the sporting goods department handles outdoor gear for the rivers, trails, and lakes surrounding the Shenandoah Valley. Toy selections make it a practical destination for birthdays and holidays, and the home improvement inventory covers the kind of hardware and supplies that keep renovation projects moving.

An automotive service center on site rounds out the offering for drivers who need routine maintenance handled while they shop. Licensing services through the sporting goods counter serve hunters and anglers, though high-demand times can mean a wait. The store's 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM schedule, seven days a week, means you can plan a visit around your actual life rather than squeezing into a narrow window.

"I understand when the service center is busy, I travel all up and down the east coast for work and use Walmart for my basic auto srvices, BUT, I really want to give these guys a thumbs up and some recognition. Recently I had to stop in Waynesboro for diesel fuel. Unfortunately at the gas station I realized I had a bad rear tire. As per my usual I went up to Walmart to get a new one and they had a really really long line. Without putting me ahead of anybody else they were able to get the job done in a few hours. It meant the world to me for them to be able to get us back on the road. Everybody working in the shop today July 9th 2026 deserves some recognition because this could have easily taken 6 or 8 hours with as many cars as we're here. Thank you!. All of you represent your company well and should be recognized."

"This place is a joke ! I am here from out of town visiting my family and we wanted to go fishing so I needed an out of state fishing license. I waited at the sporting good desk for a hour ! I had employee ask for someone to come help me, there was an announcement on the PA 2 times for customer needing help in sporting goods. I waited for a hour and nobody came…. That tells me that the managers are not doing their job and the customer service at the place is so bad I walked out. I will NEVER go back"

"There’s a manager at the Waynesboro location named Donna. She’s kind and she’s patient and she’s helpful. I came across four different employees that all gave me reasons why they were unable to assist me in getting some ink for my printer so close to closing time Donna, who was helping multiple people told me if I went back to the electronics. She would be back there to help me in just a few minutes when she finished helping whoever she was helping upfront, she made it happen. She got me the ink and she did it with a smile and she did it without an attitude and she did it right there at closing. They need more like her. She didn’t make me feel like I was bothering her because it was 15 minutes till closing time and then I was a problem. She did not make me feel that way she was helpful. She helped me with my problem of not having any ink. Thank you, Donna."

"Extremely Disorganized Photo Center and Poor Customer Service I had a very disappointing experience at the Walmart Waynesboro Supercenter when trying to pick up an online photo order. The entire process was confusing, disorganized, and showed a lack of basic customer service. When I arrived on 1/16, the signage for the photo center was misleading. I was first sent to the electronics service desk, then told the pickup area was near the store bathroom. When I got there, the photo area was completely unattended and in chaos, photos scattered everywhere, machines beeping, trash on the floor, and no staff around. A sign on the POS machine said to return to electronics for help. The employee who assisted me, Caleb, glanced at my order and incorrectly told me to come back after 1/17, even though my email said the order was already ready for pickup. After I pointed out the mistake, he tried to look for my order but couldn’t find it. Without saying anything, he walked through a back door and never returned. After waiting about 15 minutes, I found him back at the electronics desk helping other customers without notifying me. This was extremely unprofessional. After more searching, Caleb still couldn’t locate my order or fix the printer, which kept showing errors. I had already waited over 45 minutes, so I suggested leaving my name and phone number so they could contact me once they found the order. A manager named Tyler then arrived, but he was not helpful. Instead of offering a solution, he told me I could wait another 30 minutes for a different employee who “might” know how to fix the printer or find my order. I had already waited long enough. Even when I asked for a normal piece of paper to write down my contact information, he couldn’t provide one immediately. He also refused to give me his last name or any way to follow up. After nearly an hour in the store, I left with no photo order, no solution, and no confidence that the issue would be resolved. The photo area was a mess, the staff were poorly trained, and both Caleb and Tyler showed a lack of communication and accountability. My time and money were wasted, and I left extremely disappointed."

"I just purchased a new pair of black glasses. The kind that everyone is wearing now. They came in in about a week and everything was right. The sales lady helped me pick out this pair and helped me when I tried others that didn't look as well. Her name was Sara. When I went back another lady waited on me. Sorry I don't remember her name but she listened to me and left me with samples to try for my new glasses and a coupon for the wipes by Zeiss. I had bought a big bottle of cleaning solution by Equate when I first ordered them. I have been getting my glasses for a while at Waynesboro Lucy Lane and the service is incredible. I also bought some things for Christmas. I ❤️ love going to Waynesboro Walmart at Lucy Lane! Thank You Sooo much! I will be back to shop and get my new glasses adjusted.
